Easter 2015 – What’s on in Dublin?

The Easter holidays are upon us so two full weeks of keeping the kids busy with plenty of bank holidays to keep us all going! So what’s on in Dublin? There are loads of activities on in Dublin for to suit all tastes – all you have to do is pick your event, call NRC on 01 677 2222 and the rest is a piece of cake (or chocolate!).

Big Barracks Egg Hunt April 8th

Check out the Big Barracks Egg Hunt at Collins Barracks, April 8 from 3pm — 4pm. With map and quiz questions to find the golden egg – the kids will love this one!

Butlers Chocolate Experience

Its Easter time so no better time to visit the Butlers Chocolate Experience in Dublin!  With  lots of interesting things to learn about how chocolates are made, from the cocoa bean right through to being packed in beautiful gift boxes to be shipped all over the world. With plenty of sampling along the way and finishing your journey in the workshop – this is a must for chocoholics!

The Easter Bunny at the Chocolate Warehouse 14 March – 4 April

For a very festive Easter experience, go along to the Easter experience at The Chocolate Warehouse where you can meet the Easter Bunny and so much more. For all ages young and young at heart. Feast your eyes on their unique range of Easter eggs products only available at The Chocolate Warehouse.

The Ark Easter Workshop 28 March – 25 April

The Ark Easter Workshop are offering fun for all the family this Easter with a programme of specially created Easter workshops and events for you and your family to enjoy. With themed music performances and crafts, stage and music workshops for all ages it’s worth a visit.

Croke Park Easter Egg Hunt 1-6 April

Follow the clues on the Croke Park tour and find the tokens to collect your Easter Eggs!! For GAA fans – take this tour which takes a look behind the scenes at Croke Park including a visit to the Players’ Lounge, dressing rooms, warm-up area and pitch-side walk-way as well as a trip to the top tier to enjoy a bird’s eye view of the stadium.

Farmleigh, Phoenix Park April 8 & 9

Farmleigh is always great fun at Easter with magic shows, face painting, buggy nature tours, egg hunts and storytelling are all completely free. This in from 10am, April 8 and 9.

St. Patrick’s Cathedral are holding family workshops at 2pm on April 10, 11, 12 and 13 where you can make a stunning stained glassed window!

The Exchange Dublin April 10

The Exchange Dublin are running a Milk And Cookies Stories event where you can tell a tale or simply sit back and listen on April 10th at 6.30pm.

Daytime Sun Watch family Workshop April 7th

Astronomy Ireland’s are running a Daytime Sun Watch family workshop at AI HQ in Artane on April 7th at 1pm where you’ll learn about sunspots, solar activity and just why our nearest star is causing so much interest at the moment
