Beat the bus strike chaos with NRC Taxis!

With Dublin Bus drivers on strike and causing chaos across the city we want to share a few hints and tips to help you get through the disruption hassle free.

  1. Rush hour is crazy busy – demand is up 60% from 7.30am – 9.30 am on strike days so it’s worth changing your travel times if you can
  2. More cars = more traffic – traffic chaos in Dublin! Journey times are longer – so make sure to leave earlier than usual
  3. Clever commuters pre-book their NRC Taxi: 40% more of you got organised in advance and pre-booked your morning NRC Taxi during the strike period. If you’re planning on pre-booking again though – do it quick as capacity is limited!
  4. Walk, run, cycle or car pool if you can as demand is high for taxis and the roads are blocked so use alternative means of transport if you can!

So fellow travellers good luck out there – keep these tips in mind and you’ll get to where you are going with as little hassle as possible!

Safe travels!
